A blood test is often the first indication that you may have increased levels of glucose (sugars) in your blood. If these are higher than normal you may be diagnosed with prediabetes. If you are diagnosed with prediabetes, you are not alone. Over 88 million Americans have prediabetes. The good news is that people with prediabetes can stall and even prevent type 2 diabetes by making healthy lifestyle changes.
