Colorectal cancer is a malignant tumor of the colon or rectum. It’s the third most common cause of death due to cancer for men and women combined. The good news is that with regular screening most colon cancers can be prevented.

No single activity or risk reduction strategy will safeguard you 100% against cancers of the gastrointestinal tract but recent research has found evidence that taking aspirin may help reduce the incidence of gastrointestinal cancers.
