Dr. Swartzberg is a specialist in internal medicine and infectious disease and Clinical Professor Emeritus of Medicine at the University of California, Berkeley, School of Public Health and at the University of California, San Francisco, School of Medicine. He has directed coverage of the Berkeley Wellness Letter since 2001 and has taken on editorial responsibility of all Health & Wellness Publications since 2017. Dr. Swartzberg is an outspoken advocate for public health issues.
